Machinarium refused for XBLA

Microsoft just refused Machinarium for XBLA after a half year of talking with them. They like the game and know it would be very successful on their platform, but they don’t want to support games which aren’t Microsoft exclusives.

When you think a certain fruit company is a crazy control freak, think again. Probably all big corporations in this industry are crazy.

Platforms

But the biggest reason why there’s no iPhone SDK on Windows or Linux is that it doesn’t need to exist. The iPhone is the premier platform where the most money is being made. Developers will come to Apple — Apple doesn’t need to come to developers.

This is why I think there should be a Mac version of Windows Phone Developer Tool. Microsoft might want AppStore developers, who presumably have Macs, to start making apps for Windows Phone with minimal friction. They need to come to developers.

Hello Microsoft, welcome to 2007

Windows Phone 7 Series will not have copy and paste functionality. There is a data-detection service built into the text-handling API that will recognize phone numbers and addresses, but Microsoft says most users, including Office users, don't really need clipboard functionality.

What next? No MMS? No SMS forwarding? I just hope it's not a vaporphone.
